Today at Mass a missionary from Equador came to our parish to share his experiences.  During his sermon he said words that I’ve heard before but are certainly worth repeating:

 “Christianity is not Dogma. Christianity is not rules. Christianity is Jesus Christ.”

As anyone who has a relationship with God, we know He is pure love.  He IS love. 

Christianity IS love. We are loved by God’s enamored love and what is His – is ours because of this love.

The hymn was appropriately selected with the chorus echoing:

“You are Blessed. You are Holy. Yours is the Kingdom of God.” 

These words and this sentiment needs to be written on our hearts – because we as Christians are truly Blessed always – we must understand our own holy dignity as we are raised up with Christ into His Kingdom!
