…The Lord Rescues

Reflection from one year ago:

Last night as I briefly looked out the window awaiting a neighbor to drop off something for my son, I saw emergency vehicles pulling into a friend’s house on the main road.   I wasn’t deeply anxious because of the large amount of family members, but certainly concerned for their well being. I said a prayer for their family. This morning though, I did contact the Mom to inquire and, of course, offer help in anyway.  As it turns out, one of her older children had a first time seizure of an unknown source. I told her I would pray for her daughter, her family and the doctors to help pinpoint the cause of this very scary event. She was very appreciative and I know my prayers will join their prayers to God.  He offers His help for free, is direct, is tailored but His assistance is for everyone. Have faith and pray, He’s right there.

Lord Have Mercy,

Paula
