Once again, I received some great advice from a dear friend.  She was helping me sort through some work related choices.  As we discussed fear of the unknown, finances and reasons for making choices that may seem to be out of desperation, she sent me words that touched my soul.  She truly is a gift to me.

She was my choice for sponsor when I was being Confirmed years ago.   In the months preceding, she stayed with me, didn’t bail, and in fact, attended each Sunday morning meeting with the Adult Faith Formation leaders.  She may not attend church weekly and deprives herself of the Precious Body and Blood of Christ but she has a relationship with Christ through prayer. He has gifted her with wisdom for her to share. Unfortunately, there are those who attend church weekly and yet produce no fruit whatsoever.  

Thank goodness God looks to the heart – where the true form of a person lays.
