During an old television family show this evening, there was a scene where a blind girl asks to pray to God.  As she prays out loud, she says “you put a light in our hearts that shines brighter than anything our eyes could see.” 

The brightest of lights forces us to close our eyes so we are blind to its piercing force but we can still feel the radiating heat all over our bodies.  We know it is there. We do not need sight to see God. We do not need eyes to seek God. If we have a beating heart, we have God. If we have a faithful heart full of the light of God,  others will see His presence radiating through us brighter than anything our own eyes could see.
