I often had a recurring dream about a past employment that had a major effect on me.  It’s why I made the decision to study Theology. While there, I had such inner turmoil watching some daily events unfold that just did not offer warmth, welcome or peace.  It was a true conflict to my expectations and perception of what church is. However, it didn’t stop me from seeking a Catholic arena that does promote all that Jesus taught us.  Recently, I dreamed that I was there, at a meeting, to discuss business needs. I walked in and offered my business skills to help, but was turned down. The leader said to me “we can’t afford to pay you” So, I replied “You don’t understand, I will do it for free!”  And with a hand on my shoulder, a smile on his face and shaking his head, he says: “No, Paula.” I walked away thinking “But I can help with so much! Why won’t they let me?” The answer is because it is not their decision. It’s God’s. He absolutely, without a doubt, has bigger and better plans for me.

I have a desire to be in church service of some capacity,  God knows – He planted it!  He will place me in the best situation available where I can do His service, to the best of my ability, and where He can make the most difference through me!
