This wasn’t the first time I’ve noticed bright sunrays shining through beautiful stained glass windows at church.  I love to be drenched in the vibrant colors that are emitted to the nave and sanctuary. My church has a gorgeous rose window depicting saints and angels in hues of blue, red, green and gold.  I recall a time during the Easter season that the sun shone directly through the rounded window casting multiple rays into the center aisle. It was such a gentle presence gloriously displayed to those who took notice.

Recently after receiving communion, I walked up the side aisle only to be greeted with the beauty of natural light streaming through a stained glass window from above.  As the rainbow of colors warmly reflected on my face, I closed my eyes gently to acknowledge His presence and the pure serenity of that moment. 

God leads us with light and truth, and He is both.
