Reflection from one year ago:

Today I was getting a bit exasperated with some of my homework.   I’m not sure if it was the steady diet of perplexing texts of which I was trying to digest into something understandable, the time needed to formulate an answer or the time needed to learn a mystical and symbolic language. Thinking is hard, and thinking deeply is exhausting!  As I approached each question with frustration on how to start a comprehensible and hopefully near correct answer, this phrase kept invading my thoughts…

I’m well aware who was prodding me along with this message just as much as I know how invaluable this time, with and knowledge of God, is.  The time spent reading and absorbing these books, and etching out commentaries brought me closer to God and today, His Mother.
