…An Answer to Someone’s Prayer
Reflection from one year ago:
Funny how we unload our mental anguishes or frustrations onto a good friend or close relative only to turn around and have someone else, open their burden to us. It’s like our own plate was cleaned so we could have room for others. It’s not burdensome to help others – it helps us get out of our own head for awhile. Most of the time, just by listening, we are helping others come to terms with a decision or appreciate a different view on something. That is also how they help us and how we help them.
Sometimes we are chosen to be the prayer for others, but many times, others are the prayer for us…and the cycle repeats.
