Reflection from a year ago:

I was thinking about people. We come in so many varieties like flowers, foods, animals, and languages to name just a few. Our thoughts, ideas, values, morals, and ethics all so seemingly variant.  But what we do have in common is the love of God and the dignity he bestows upon each of us.  We are masterpieces of an awesome and glorious Creator. We have been given dominion over all the animals and stewardship of an amazing Earth.  These honors are not mere casual or inconsequential responsibilities. They are critical, exceptional, and mightily substantial.  If God thinks we are that incredible, we need to acknowledge that sentiment and give Him honor.  This is achieved by respecting ourselves and others and by treating each other with willful, meaningful, and respectful engagement at all times.
